The Minister for Education Visits the Midwest

Recently the Midwest Regional Education Office hosted an event providing an opportunity for the minister for Education the Hon Tony Buti MLA to share new and current initiatives in public education and how they can make a positive difference to students.

The Minister ws supported by Lisa Criddle , the Director of Education for the Midwest and Jim Bell, the Deputy Director General of Education.  
Jim was a Principal of Yuna Primary Schjool in the mid 1990's almost 30 years ago.  
He stated that he had many fond memories of his time in Yuna and was keen and interested to hear about his past students,their families and the community as a whole.
